Albany Bulb Nature Journal Club

Do you want to spend more time outdoors? Do you wish to slow down and take time to closely observe nature? Are you curious about the many living creatures at the Albany Bulb? Do you like to be in awe of the shapes, smells and textures of living organisms?

If you answered yes to any of those questions you might enjoy the Albany Bulb Nature Journal Club! A new program of Love the Bulb to bring together people who want to explore the diverse nature of the Bulb through the practice of nature journaling.

In the practice of nature journaling, you use words, pictures, and numbers to collect and record your observations, questions, connections, and explanations on the pages of a notebook. You do not need to be an artist or a naturalist to begin!

The Albany Bulb Nature Journal Club will meet once per month for five months, July-November, and will survey the breadth of plant and animal life at the Bulb.

This program is generously supported by the Albany Community Foundation.
